Give Our Kids A Chance!
Our kids are facing a very fast paced life ahead of them. They are confronted daily with decisions they need to make most of the time on their own. Here are the questions we must ask ourselves: Are they prepared to make the right decision? Go in the right direction? Associate with the right individuals? Be employable? Believe me, they will come to that cross road, more than once and the prepared ones will get through and the others will wonder what had happened and why they cant move forward.
Here are the facts: Everything we face today as adults you can be sure are kids are not to far behind. Here are just a few things to consider when wondering what our kids are facing everyday: School pressure, peer pressure, alcohol, drugs, gambling, pregnancy, suicide, sexual activity, bullying, gang pressure, eating disorders, self esteem, depression, teen STD's and so much more. Sound familiar? Yes these are incredible things to face as a young person. As adults we barley know how to handle them ourselves can you imagine being 16 and having to deal with it?
How many kids do you think are prepared to handle these kinds of situations? None should have to, but unfortunately they do, sometimes everyday. We can trace these kinds of behavior to a break down in character development. Although our schools do a fairly good job at academics, their focus has been lost when it comes to helping our kids make good choices and developing in them a sense of purpose and character. Instilling in them Character principles, Communication skills, self esteem, dream building and goal setting skills, they may have a chance to make that most important decision that someday may save their life.
From first driving a car to getting employed, there takes a mind set and teachable skills to be successful. A split decision behind the wheel can mean the difference of a crash or making it home safely, and every employer is looking for high caliber customer focused individuals that can add value to their business.
We at Tag Team Motivation want to help. We have created a program that can help your young person receive the character building tools that will last a life time. We know first hand that one wrong decision or implication can change the direction of your life and be a weight they will have to carry for a very long time if not a lifetime. We want to make sure they have the capacity to make those ever lasting decisions.
We have created "the starting line" to do just that. After the 4 sessions, your teen will be able to realize developing good character makes all the difference in their pursuit of success. They will know how to set and communicate their goals, find a sense of purpose and passion, and they will learn the basic skills needed to get employed, from interviewing skills, filling out an application and writing a basic resume.
At the end of the course you will receive a certificate showing completion of the course and will be put in a data base (with parents consent) for local employers to draw from. They know good and competent entry level employees are hard to find and our training will be an added value to the parent, the teen and the employer. Its a win/win/win.
